The left part of the cascade statue symbolizes the old fortress, and the right part represents the new fortress and the bridge between the old fortress and the new fortress on top of the stone (Կասկադի արձանի ձախ հատվածը խորհրդանշում է հին Երևանը, իսկ աջ հատվածը նոր Երևանը, իսկ վերևի քարը դրած է հին Երևանի և նոր Երևանի միջև որպես կամուրջ).
